Good news for orangutan conservation!
Right now, the orangutans' wild home is burning around them in Borneo. Their rainforests, their lives, and their wild futures are being pushed closer to the edge, every single day.
In the midst of the devastation and chaos, we'd love to share with you some good news from the rainforest. Some truly heartwarming updates from some of the orangutans that YOU help protect.
So please, come along to the protected rainforests of Camp Rasak in Central Borneo, where reintroduced orangutans are living wild, safe and free. All thanks to you!
We're thrilled to share that in May this year, Labetty the orangutan was spotted with a brand new baby girl!
This infant is Labetty’s third offspring, and mum and bub appear to be happy and healthy, and doing incredibly well together in their forest home.

You might also remember our extremely cute baby news from earlier this year – the birth of little Annisa and Asma!
Today I’m happy to share that Annisa and her mum Acuy, and Asma and her mum Amina, are all absolutely thriving!
They are often spotted foraging together, and living as wild orangutans should: safe, protected and free.

The cherry on top of this wonderful news, is that there’s another mother-infant duo in the mix at Camp Rasak – meet Suwita and Samual!
As you might have noticed in each of these photos, activity at Camp Rasak the past few months has been dominated by the very exciting, and incredibly delicious, seasonal fruiting of the Asam Kalimantan (Mangifera torquenda) tree.
Mums and bubs have all been spotted frequently foraging the abundant fruit trees, spending hours feeding together.
United not only by gorgeous little babies, but food!

Because you help keep their forest safe and protected, these babies were born naturally in the wild.
And every baby born in the wild is one big step away from the edge of Extinction, and toward survival for their entire species. A step made possible because of your kindness and support.
We hope you feel proud knowing that you are part of each of these orangutan babies’ stories.
Every orangutan baby born, every patch of forest protected, and every life given a second chance, is because you care.
